SOLEKKO: /’so.lek.ko.’/ is a general saying in Lapland – freely translated as “just” and “nothing but”. In the Lappish mindset, everything is uncomplicated, grounded and simply great. Solekko is all about taking the right attitude and action; everything will succeed anyway. Rain or shine.
Solekko Fest is an authentic village festival in Lapland, locally known as “fästi”, where everyone is welcome. It’s wonderfully local and absolutely international. Wild and curious, down to earth – impossible to put into words. Just come along and be part of it.
